7 Hilarious and Surprising Facts About Chickens You Never Knew

Hello chicken tenders! I am here to share with you some fun facts about my species that most people don’t know.

1. We are social creatures - Chickens are social animals and we love to be around other chickens. In fact, a lonely chicken can become stressed and fall ill. So, if you have chickens as pets, make sure to keep them in a group.

2. We can dream - Yes, that’s right! We can dream just like humans and other animals. Our dreams can range from pecking at food to running from predators. 

3. We have different personalities - Just like humans, no two chickens are exactly alike. We have different personalities, likes and dislikes. Some of us are friendly, others are shy, and some of us are bossy.

4. We have unique vocalizations - We have a variety of vocalizations that we use to communicate with each other. From warning calls to food calls, we have a distinct voice for every situation.

5. We love to dance - Chickens love to dance! When we hear music, we can’t resist moving our heads and feet to the beat. 

6. We can recognize human faces - Studies have shown that we can recognize individual human faces and remember them for up to two years.

7. We have excellent memories - Speaking of memories, we have excellent ones. We can remember where we have found food, where we have laid eggs, and even remember our favorite humans. Maybe that's you!
